The team from the Scottish capital will be keen to continue their current positive momentum, as they head into this game on the back of four straight wins after a 5-0 Cup win over Auchinleck Talbot last time out.
Before the cup win, Robbie Neilson’s team recorded three straight SPL wins. In fact, the home side have now recorded four wins in their last five matches in the Scottish top-flight, a run only interrupted by a 2-0 home defeat by reigning champions Rangers.
Hearts have a strong recent home record in the Scottish top-flight, winning four of their last five SPL games at Tynecastle. Once again, the only blip was the defeat against Rangers.
Celtic are playing catch up with reigning champions Rangers, as Ange Postecoglou’s team are four points behind their bitter rivals.
However, the Hoops head to Edinburgh in fine form, having won ten of their last 11 matches in all competitions.
The Hoops are also 15 games unbeaten in the SPL, having recorded 12 victories in the process. Last time out they recorded a comfortable 2-0 home win over Hearts city-rivals Hibs.
Celtic have been strong travellers of late in the SPL, as they are unbeaten in eight away games, recording seven wins and one draw.
The Hoops have been prolific on their travels in recent league matches, scoring at least two goals in seven of their last eight away games in the Scottish top-flight.
