Queens Park Rangers will welcome Swansea City to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium this Tuesday night as the London outfit look to jump into the top three just as the South Wales side look to edge closer to the bottom three.
It’s been a torrid season for Swansea, who have gone from competing in the play-offs all last season and almost making it to Wembley, to now sitting in the bottom half of the table with little hope of salvaging anything from the campaign after also going out of the FA Cup to Southampton a few weeks back.

As of now, the Swans sit in 17th, and although it is a dark read for their fans, the gap on the bottom three is a healthy 12 points and those below them are so poor that there should be no fear of dropping any further down the table.
On the other hand, recent months have called Russell Martin’s job into question and unless they can start to chip away at the top half of the table, the Swansea manager is going to be under pressure for some time.
The club did manage to return to winning ways last time out, as they edged past Preston North End in the table thanks to a goal from Ryan Manning.
The three points here subsequently cut the gap on them to three points, but Blackpool in 12th remain five points away, despite the Swans having a bulk of games in hand.
QPR, however, are still in excellent form and they are without question going to fight in the play-offs right until the final whistle. The R's are on a four-game winning streak of winning the game by a mere goal, as they stole all three points from Bristol City, Birmingham, West Bromwich Albion, and Coventry City.
It leaves Mark Warburton’s men in fourth with a game in hand over third-placed Blackburn Rovers, and following their win over Coventry last time out, they've now created a healthy five-point gap on those outside of the play-offs and moved onto 14 wins in the league this campaign, for which only leaders and destined Premier League side, Fulham, can better.
It will be a close game because despite Swansea’s woes right now, they still seem to put up a relatively decent fight for those towards the top end of the table.
Forebet predicts QPR to win, however, but for the game to see under 2.5 goals with just four of the past 11 league fixtures seeing over 2.5 goals for the R’s.
