Burnley are next up for Tottenham as the teams will meet at Turf Moor. The Clarets are 18th in the league standings with nine points from 36 available.
Two points separate Burnley from safety. A win against Tottenham and Leeds United loss to Brighton on Saturday would see the Clarets move out of the relegation zone.
Burnley are winless against Tottenham in five straight matches in all competitions. The Clarets’ last win against Tottenham was in 2018-19. That victory came at Turf Moor, the site of Sunday’s Premier League clash.
Spurs took 10 points from the last 18 on offer in the league, scoring seven goals and conceding eight times. Burnley took seven points from the last 18 available. The Clarets scored nine goals and conceded nine times.
Manager Sean Dyche has led Burnley to four straight games without a loss in the league. Three of those four fixtures ended in draws.
Dyche has four players on the injury and suspension list. James Tarkowski and Ashley Westwood are both ruled out of the match due to suspensions. Ashley Barnes is a doubt due to a slight injury and Dale Stephens is a major doubt following a long-term fitness issue.
Conte has three players ruled out of action going into the weekend. Centre-back Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso, and Dane Scarlett will all miss the fixture.
Burnley have taken six points from 18 on the road this season, but they have only scored eight times at Turf Moor. Spurs have taken seven points from 18 away from London. They have been outscored 9-5.
Despite Tottenham’s troubles, which were far more than Nuno Espirito Santo, they will pick up a win at Turf Moor. The victory will continue Tottenham's dominance over Burnley and be the Londoners’ fourth straight win against the Clarets.
Spurs should win with over 2.5 goals score and both teams scoring goals. The growing pains under Conte should continue.
