Unbeaten Chelsea welcome Manchester City to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League’s early kick-off on Saturday.

The Blues currently find themselves joint top of the table – alongside Liverpool and Manchester United – having taken 13 points from a possible 15.

Meanwhile, Man City sit fifth in the standings – three points behind Thomas Tuchel’s side and two points shy of fourth-place Brighton.

Chelsea have been almost perfect during the early stages of the campaign, picking up four wins and a draw in the Premier League.

They have already seen off Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Tottenham, as well as drawing with Liverpool.

The Blues maintained their unbeaten start to the season on Wednesday, beating Aston Villa 4-3 on penalties to advance to the fourth round of the EFL Cup.

In the Premier League, Tuchel’s men have netted 12 goals while conceding just once – keeping four clean sheets in the process.

The returining Romelu Lukaku has netted three goals in four Premier League appearances, while Mateo Kovacic has chipped in with a goal and three assists.

As for Man City, they were beaten by Spurs on the opening weekend but have since notched a series of positive results.

Pep Guardiola’s side crushed both Norwich and Arsenal 5-0 before beating Leicester and drawing with Southampton.

They also sealed a hefty 6-3 victory over RB Leipzig in the Champions League, laying down an early European marker.

Last time out, City thrashed Wycombe 6-1 in the EFL Cup. Riyad Mahrez bagged a brace, while there were also goals for Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Ferran Torres and Cole Palmer.

It is also worth pointing out that Man City have not been losing at half-time in each of their previous 16 away matches in the Premier League.

Head-to-head: Chelsea have won each of their last three meetings with Man City, triumphing in the league, FA Cup and Champions League final.

In fact, Guardiola’s side have only managed to win two of their previous seven matches against the Blues.

Team news: Chelsea will be hoping that Edouard Mendy and Christian Pulisic are both available for selection this weekend, with the pair missing recent games through injury.

Man City will be without John Stones and Aymeric Laporte through injury on Saturday, while Rodri, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Ilkay Gundogan are also doubts.

When you couple Chelsea’s flying start to the season with their recent record against Man City, all the signs point towards a home win at Stamford Bridge.

Forebet predicts that Chelsea will secure a fourth straight win over Man City, keeping their fifth Premier League clean sheet of the season in the process.
