On Tuesday night, Antofagasta host Curico Unido in Chile’s Primera Division, as both teams look for a win to aid their respective objectives this season.
Antofagasta are currently seventh place in the Chilean Primera Division, occupying the last qualifying berth for continental football for next season.

The possibility of qualifying for the Copa Libertadores is not completely out of reach either, as the home team are just five points adrift of the top-three spots in the Chilean top-flight.
A recent inconsistent run of form in the Premier Division has not helped their chances of achieving a top-three finish this season. Juan Ribera’s team has won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five league matches. They have taken four points from their last two games, which has to be seen as a positive.
Another positive for Antofagasta is their recent home form in the Chilean Primera Division, as they have won five of their previous six league outings on home soil.
While the home side strives for continental football for next season, Curico Unido are battling to just stay in the Chilean top-flight.
The visitors are currently in the last automatic relegation berth in what is a tight fight for survival at the bottom end of the Primera Division. Despite their lowly position in the table, Curico Unido are in decent form, as they are now four games unbeaten in the Chilean top-flight, having recorded two wins and two draws.
The visitors have also picked up a creditable four points from their last two away games in the Primera Division. However, they have won just one of their last nine away games, while suffering six defeats in the process.
Forebet predicts that Antofagasta will boost their chances of a top-seven finish by recording a victory in a low-scoring encounter.
