There’s action from the Brazilian top flight on Monday night and features the clash between 3rd placed Fortaleza and 14th placed visitors, Cuiaba, as the two teams meet at the Estádio Governador Plácido Aderaldo Castelo.

Cuiaba find themselves sitting in the bottom half of the Brazilian Serie A in 14th place after some inconsistent results of late as the visitors have won just two of their last six games overall in the domestic top flight.
The visitors have also lost twice, to Corinthians and Gremio (both of which were at home), along with drawing twice as well, with draws against Internacional and Bahia, so the prospects of an away win here do seem slim.
However, Cuiaba have been pretty solid away from home as the visitors have lost just once on the road so far this season but their results have been dominated by draws with the visitors being involved in no fewer than five draws within their eight away games to date.
Cuiaba have also failed to score in four of their eight away games so far this term and being up against a Fortaleza side who have scored 17 goals in their eight home games to date, this could spell trouble for Cuiaba in Monday night’s clash.
