The Championship is still very much in its early stages and it is difficult to take much from the games so far. However, two teams that have not enjoyed a great start to their seasons, Huddersfield and Preston meet at the John Smith’s Stadium on Tuesday night.
Huddersfield opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw at Derby County. However, last time out they suffered a 5-1 home humiliation against Fulham, who had Harry Wilson dismissed on 72 minutes.

The results so far have the Terriers 22nd place in the table. However, that is only due to the negative goal difference from the defeat against the Cottagers.
Such is the early nature of the table a victory here could well propel the home team up the standings.
The Yorkshire outfit has found victories hard to come by in the Championship of late, as they have won just one of their last 12 matches in the English second tier.
Preston have made an even worse start to the season than their hosts, suffering back-to-back league defeats to Hull City and last time out Reading.
At least they recorded a 3-0 win over Mansfield in between in the League Cup. However, conceding six goals in their first two league matches of the season will be a major concern for Preston boss Frank McAvoy and his team.
The two straight league defeats were quite disappointing considering that North End finished last season with a run of four consecutive wins in the Championship. They had also conceded just one goal in their last five matches in the second tier.
The 2-1 defeat against Reading last time out ended a four-game unbeaten run on their travels for the visitors in the Championship.
Forebet predicts that Preston will record their first league win of the season in a high-scoring encounter.
