On Wednesday evening, Haugesund and Stromsgodset clash at the Haugesund Stadion in the Norwegian Eliteserien, as both teams look to push up the table towards the European spots.
Haugesund are currently seventh place in the Eliteserien table but are just four points adrift of the European spots with a game in hand on the majority of teams above them in the league table.

However, their recent form in the Norwegian top-flight has been slightly inconsistent, although they have suffered just one defeat in their last five outings in the Eliteserien.
Their recent league outings have been relatively high-scoring, with under 2.5 goals scored in three of their last four matches in the Norwegian top-flight.
A major positive for Haugesund in recent matches has been their home form in the Eliteserien, as they are currently six games unbeaten, having recorded five straight victories. They have also scored at least three goals in four of their last five league matches at the Haugesund Stadion.
Stromsgodset are level on points with their hosts in the Norwegian top-flight table but are below them due to an inferior goal difference.
However, they have played a game more than Haugesund in the Eliteserien this season.
Things seem to be looking up for the team from Drammen, as they are unbeaten in their last four league games, including winning back-to-back matches against Stabaek and Odd. The visitors also scored twice in both of the victories.
If they are to challenge for a European spot this season, then Stromsgodset needs to up their game away from home, as they have failed to win in six away games in the Norwegian top-flight, having suffered four defeats in the process.
Forebet predicts that Haugesund will record a victory in a high-scoring encounter, which could shoot right up the home side up the table.
