Down in eleventh place, Sirius find themselves five points clear of last-place Orebro and nine points behind Djurgardens.
Impressively, Djurgardens have only lost one of their ten league games this year – sealing six wins and three draws in the process.
They also boast the best defensive record in the division, having conceded just six goals so far this season.
With 16 goals to their name, Djurgardens are also the third-highest scorers in the Allsvenskan this season.
Remarkably, Djurgardens have kept three straight clean sheets on home soil and have also kept six clean sheets in ten league games this term – giving them a shutout rate of 60%.
As for Sirius, they have only managed to win three of their ten Allsvenskan outings throughout the 2021 campaign.
Three draws and four losses mean they have only taken 12 points from a possible 30 this year, setting them up for a challenging season.
Sirius have managed to find the back of the net just 11 times this season, meaning only three teams in the league have scored fewer goals.
It is also worth remembering that nine of Sirius’ ten Allsvenskan games this year have produced at least two goals.
Head-to-head: Djurgardens head into Monday’s clash having claimed six consecutive victories over Sirius since 2018.
Across their last six meetings, they have scored a combined total of 18 goals (three goals per game) and have also conceded just one goal (five clean sheets).
Team news: On Monday, Djurgardens will be without injured goalkeeper Aleksandr Vasyutin, who is currently on loan from Zenit St Petersburg.
Sirius have no injury worries and will be looking to top scorer Christian Kouakou to cause an upset at Tele2 Arena.
Considering Djurgardens have claimed six straight wins over Sirius and have scored over 2.5 goals on three occasions in that time, a home win is on the cards here.
Forebet predicts that Djurgardens will claim a high-scoring victory over Sirius, with over 3.5 match goals looking likely.
