Just three points separate AIK and Kalmar as the two sides prepare to face off at Friends Arena on Sunday.
As things stand, AIK sit fifth on 17 points in Sweden’s Allsvenskan, while eighth-place Kalmar find themselves on 14 points.

AIK have only lost three of their 10 league matches this season (five wins, two draws) and sit just six points behind first-place Malmo as a result.
Having only conceded 11 goals, AIK also boast one of the best defensive records in the Swedish top division.
AIK’s strong start to the campaign is thanks largely to their impressive record on home soil, as they have avoided defeat in each of their last six home matches in the Allsvenskan.
It is also worth pointing out that each of AIK’s previous four league games have produced over 2.5 goals, meaning we are likely to see a high-scoring game on Sunday.
Veteran midfielder Sebastian Larsson is AIK’s top scorer this term, having bagged four goals and one assist in all competitions.
On the flip side, Kalmar have recorded three wins, five draws and two defeats in their opening ten league matches this year.
Although only Allsvenskan team – Djurgarden – have lost fewer games than Henrik Rydstrom’s side, five draws have prevented them from moving up the table.
