The FPL Gameweeks are coming thick and fast at the moment, with another full round of Premier League fixtures this weekend.

Make sure you’ve finalised your team before 11:00 (GMT) on Saturday, February 6, as the Gameweek 23 deadline approaches.

Here are the Gameweek 23 fixtures.

    • Aston Villa vs. Arsenal

    • Burnley vs. Brighton

    • Newcastle vs. Southampton

    • Fulham vs. West Ham

    • Man Utd vs. Everton

    • Tottenham vs. West Brom

    • Wolves vs. Leicester

    • Liverpool vs. Man City

    • Sheff Utd vs. Chelsea

    • Leeds vs. Crystal Palace

The standout tie of the round is obviously Man City’s trip to Liverpool, but there are a number of other intriguing matchups here.

Burnley vs. Brighton is destined to be a low-scoring affair, while Wolves vs. Leicester promises to be a thriller.

Let’s get stuck into the top picks for Gameweek 23.

    Goalkeepers

Even with Man City facing Liverpool this weekend, it is difficult to look past Ederson right now. The Brazilian has kept 13 clean sheets in 20 Premier League outings this season, conceding just 12 goals along the way.

In fact, Pep Guardiola’s side have achieved six straight shutouts in the league, as well as 11 in their previous 13.

Other goalkeepers to consider Gameweek 23 include Robert Sanchez (Brighton) – who prepares to face the league’s lowest scorers (Burnley) on the back of four straight clean sheets – and Edouard Mendy (Chelsea) – who faces low-scoring Burnley this weekend.

    Defenders

It’s all about Man City defenders at the moment. Ruben Dias became the highest scoring defender in the game after his efforts in the previous round, with Joao Cancelo and John Stones also continuing to impress.

Aaron Cresswell (West Ham) looks set to enjoy another successful game against struggling Fulham on Saturday, while James Justin (Leicester) continued to enhance his glowing reputation with a goal last time out.

Brighton quartet Lewis Dunk, Dan Burn, Dan Webster and Ben White are all sensible budget options right now, with the latter often playing in midfield – thus picking up more points.

    Midfielders

Jesse Lingard marked his West Ham debut by netting a double in the previous round. Along with team-mate Tomas Soucek, Lingard is set to thrive on loan at the London Stadium.

Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) added another goal and two assists to his remarkable tally as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side crushed Southampton 9-0 in midweek. The Portuguese playmaker now has 12 goals and ten assists in 22 league games this term.

Jorginho (Chelsea), James Maddison (Leicester), Raphina (Leeds) and Marcus Rashford (Man Utd) all generated a sizeable number of points in the previous round.

    Forwards

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton) returned to scoring ways in midweek, as did Anthony Martial (Man Utd). DCL now has 12 goals in 19 league games this term, while Martial has four goals and four assists.

With Harry Kane (Tottenham) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester) both still injured, Gabriel Jesus (Man City) is a solid premium pick for Gameweek 23.

If you’re looking for budget options, Billy Sharp (Sheff Utd), Michail Antonio (West Ham) and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) are all sensible picks.
