Gameweek 6 of the 2020/21 Premier League season kicks off on Friday night, with high-flying Aston Villa hosting Leeds.

This week’s FPL transfer deadline is on Friday, October 23, at 18:30 (BST), so make sure you have finalised your selections before then.

Let’s start by checking out the fixtures before taking a look at who’s hot and who’s not when it comes to Fantasy Football.

    Aston Villa vs. Leeds

    West Ham vs. Manchester City

    Fulham vs. Crystal Palace

    Manchester United vs. Chelsea

    Liverpool vs. Sheffield United

    Southampton vs. Everton

    Wolves vs. Newcastle

    Arsenal vs. Leicester

    Brighton vs. West Brom

    Burnley vs. Tottenham

With both sides seemingly incapable of defending, Chelsea’s trip to Man Utd is likely to produce plenty of goals.

Fulham, Sheff Utd, Burnley and West Brom are still without a win, while Everton and Aston Villa remain unbeaten this season.

Top scorers Tottenham visit Turf Moor, with the Blades – the division’s lowest scorers – travelling to Anfield.

    Goalkeepers

It is difficult to ignore the job that Emiliano Martinez is doing for Aston Villa at the moment. The Argentine has kept three clean sheets in four games and has only conceded two goals this term.

After keeping a clean sheet against Ajax in the Champions League, Adrian could be a shrewd pick. Alisson remains sidelined, and Liverpool face low-scoring Sheff Utd on Saturday.

Ederson (Man City) and Rui Patricio (Wolves) both kept shutouts in the previous round. They face West Ham and Newcastle respectively this weekend.

    Defenders

Wolves defenders look like good picks at the moment. Nelson Semedo has two clean sheets in three games since moving from Barcelona, while Max Kilman was man of the match against Leeds last time out.

Sergio Reguilon (Tottenham) has hit the ground running following his switch from Real Madrid, although he is likely to get you points via assists, rather than shutouts.

Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey continues to impress. The right-back ranks third among defenders when it comes to touches in the opposition box and is also third for chances created by a defender.

It makes sense to steer clear of Chelsea and Man Utd defenders this week, with the two leaky defences going head-to-head on Saturday.

    Midfielders

Ross Barkley (Aston Villa) has netted two goals in two games since arriving on loan from Chelsea, while Jack Grealish remains a constant threat for Dean Smith’s side.

Son Heung-min (Tottenham) scored and assisted against West Ham last weekend, taking his tally for the season to seven goals and two assists in just five games.

After making a substitute appearance against the Hammers, Gareth Bale could be in line for the first start of his second spells with Spurs.

Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd), Timo Werner (Chelsea) and Kai Havertz (Chelsea) will all fancy their chances of adding to their tallies on Saturday.

As for Kevin De Bruyne, it looks like the Man City playmaker will miss the trip to the London Stadium through injury.

    Forwards

Sergio Aguero (Man City) is back from injury and scored against Porto in the Champions League in midweek. Guardiola could favour the Argentine in attack.

Harry Kane’s outrageous figures of five goals and seven assists in just five games mean you’d be foolish to leave him out of your team at the moment.

Funnily enough, Rhian Brewster is set to face the club he left earlier in the month. The Blades striker would surely love nothing more than to get one over on his former employers this weekend.

Jamie Vardy (Leicester) looks set to return against Arsenal, so the reigning Golden Boot winner is another premium option.
