It’s a speedy turnaround for Fantasy Football managers this week as all 20 Premier League teams play two games within the space of 48 hours.
The packed fixture schedule means there are plenty of important decisions to be made when it comes to selecting your team, so let’s take a look at some of the players who could make a difference during this busy period of the season.
Jordan Pickford - Everton
Everton have kept back-to-back clean sheets in the Premier League and will be looking to continue their mini-revival against a low-scoring Newcastle team this weekend. Pickford could prove to be an excellent selection for Round 20.
Christian Kabasele – Watford
Watford appear to be turning a corner under new boss Nigel Pearson. Kabasele has been key to the team’s transition in recent weeks, earning two clean sheets and an assist in his last three appearances. The Hornets defender is a great value pick.
Djibril Sidibe – Everton
Sidibe was one of the highest scoring Fantasy defenders in the previous round. The French wing-back has been given a new lease of life under Carlo Ancelotti, so we could see the former Monaco man chipping in with assists on a regular basis under Everton’s new regime.
James Maddison – Leicester City
Despite Leicester’s title challenge slipping away after consecutive defeats, James Maddison is still worth a mention. The England midfielder has scored five and assisted five so far in 2019/20, and with the Foxes set to enjoy a kind run of fixtures in the coming weeks, Maddison is likely to add to his tally.
Anthony Martial – Manchester United
Martial’s brace against Newcastle made him the highest scoring Fantasy midfielder in the previous round. The Frenchman is in red-hot form at the moment, so will fancy his chances of netting against Burnley this weekend.
Callum Wilson - Bournemouth
Bournemouth face Brighton, West Ham, Watford and Norwich in their next four fixtures. With three of those four teams bellow the Cherries in the table – and Brighton one place above Bournemouth – this is the perfect opportunity for Wilson to kick start his season.
Roberto Firmino – Liverpool
Firmino bagged a brilliant double as Liverpool thrashed Leicester last time out. The Reds are in irresistible form right now, so you’d be foolish to bet against the silky Brazilian scoring in consecutive league games.
