It’s a quick turnaround for Fantasy Football managers this week as the midweek fixtures are almost upon us. Can Dele Alli continue his revival under Mourinho? Will lethal strikers Jimenez and Aubameyang continue to fire?
Let’s get stuck into this week’s top picks.
Adrian – Liverpool
Following Alisson’s red card against Brighton, Adrian is set to start for Liverpool in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday. Everton have been struggling to score goals lately, and the Spaniard proved at the start of the season that he is a more than capable understudy.
Aaron Cresswell – West Ham United
Cresswell scored and kept a clean sheet against Chelsea in the previous round. The in-from left-back has popped up with a few important goals this season and West Ham will head into Round 15 full of confidence after their impressive London derby win.
Matt Doherty – Wolverhampton Wanderers
Another goal-scoring defender, Matt Doherty got on the scoresheet as Wolves drew with Sheffield United last time out. Doherty is a serious threat in the right wing-back position for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, so expect to see him in the thick of the action again this week.
Dele Alli – Tottenham Hotspur
Dele Alli is back to his best. Jose Mourinho seems to have rejuvenated the midfielder and Alli is playing with a sense of freedom again. The Englishman scored twice in the previous round, so you’d be foolish to bet against him finding the back of the net against a leaky Manchester United defence this time around.
Harry Wilson – Bournemouth
The Welshman bagged a brace against Tottenham last weekend and he has consistently chipped in with goals so far this season. The creative midfielder is a fantastic budget option for Fantasy Football managers.
Raul Jimenez – Wolverhampton Wanderers
After his assist against Sheffield United, Jimenez has now produced an attacking return (goal or assist) in each of the last four rounds. The Mexican is excellent value for money and is guaranteed to get you points on a regular basis.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Arsenal
Despite all of Arsenal’s woes, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to score at a frightening rate. The Gabon striker netted twice in the previous round and is now joint-second in the Premier League goal-scoring charts this season with ten.
