The South Korea K-League 1 returns from an international football hiatus this weekend. The league resumes with Ulsan Hyundai leading second-place Jeju United by 10 points after 15 matches. Meanwhile, at the bottom of the table, Seongnam FC are desperate to get any points possible.
Jeju United need to defeat Incheon United to have any hope of reeling in Ulsan in the title race. Jeju United have a record of 3W-2D-1L against Incheon United in their last six meetings.
Jeju United top the current K-League 1 form table with 13 points from the last six games. They scored 10 goals and conceded a mere four times. Draws have been Jeju United’s issue as they have had two more stalemates compared to Ulsan.
Incheon United are fourth in the table and two points off of Jeju United. The Black and Blue will know the title is beyond them. However, Incheon United will focus on gaining qualification to the AFC Champions League. Just one of Incheon United’s last six games ended as a win.
Seongnam are last in the K-League 1 standings with nine points from 15 games. It won’t be easy to get points against Daegu FC as Seongnam have just one win in their last six head-to-head meetings.
Daegu FC are sixth and go into the game in good form. They are unbeaten in their last six games, picking up 10 points. Daegu FC scored 12 goals and conceded six times across the last six games.

Ulsan Hyundai host Jeonbuk Hyndai Motors with the aim of extending their lead over Jeju United this weekend. Ulsan are in excellent form at the top of the table, while Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors are 11 points off of the league leaders.
Jeonbuk claimed just one win in their last six meetings with Ulsan. That win came a season ago at home. The good news for Jeonbuk is that their last two away games versus Ulsan ended as draws.
Ulsan Hyundai took 13 points from their last 18 points on offer in the league. Each of their last three games ended as victories. No team has been better at home in the K-League 1 this season than Ulsan. The Horangi have a home record of 5W-2D-0L with 12 goals scored and five against.
Suwon Samsung Bluewings and FC Seoul play the South Korean Derby, and games between these long-time rivals are always tasty. FC Seoul have had the upper hand in recent seasons posting a 4W-0D-2L record versus Suwon.
In April, FC Seoul posted a 2-0 home win against Suwon Samsung Bluewings. It was the second consecutive win for FC Seoul against the Bluewings. The Red Devils are not in good form ahead of the game, however. They are winless in three straight K-League 1 games.
Suwon Samsung Bluewings are in better form with four straight games ending without defeat. Both clubs are level with 18 points from 15 games. Suwon Samsung Bluewings are the league’s second-best home team with 14 points from eight games. They are on a three-game home win streak.
